September 26 – We Ride Today

We were up this morning by six and left Bubba Cathy’s house at seven. A little groggy, we made it to Chick-fil-A headquarters around 7:30, had breakfast with some of the amazing people who work with Chick-fil-A. We were on the road by 9:00.
The day is beautiful… cool breeze, blue skies, and 80 plus miles to go. We’ll catch the Silver Comet Bike Trail in 30 miles (from Chick-fil-A headquarters) and make our way to Berry College in Rome, Georgia. We’ll be meeting up with some friends you may remember from last year and will spend the night at Winshape on the Berry College Campus.

Go, Michael! We know you can do this and keep everyone laughing along the way! Seeng as I get winded just going from the mailbox and back…I am so proud of the stamina, determination and drive that will see you to the finish line! Me and Uncle Michael are in Florida and pulling for you each pedal of the way. We’ll keep watching you…we love you darling nephew. Now go pedal!!!!!
