Hometown: Franklin, TN
Why He’s Here: I have had a problem with drugs since middle school. Despite growing up in a Christian home, I wandered far from my faith. I was arrested for felony theft during my sophomore year. I thought that would be the turning point in my life, but as soon as I finished all of my consequences, I went right back to using drugs, and this time around I started selling them. After dropping out of school and ruining countless relationships, I knew I needed a change, and my parents found the Paul Anderson Youth Home.
Turning Point: I realized I needed a change before coming to the Youth Home, but there was no way I could have made the changes I needed without the help of PAYH and God. My actions began reflecting my desires after about five months at the Home.
What He’s Looking Forward to the Most: I am most excited about traveling through Florida, a place I know and love, and being able to say that I completed the Paul Anderson Bike Ride.
