Hometown: Hartwell, GA
Why He’s Here: I started using drugs at the age of thirteen and increasingly more as I got older. It all came to a screeching halt when I overdosed one night at a party after consuming LSD, marijuana, and alcohol and woke up handcuffed to a hospital bed. I later went and saw the sheriff who told me that if I didn’t change, I would end up in jail or a morgue. I was sent to PAYH a week later.
Turning Point: Ever since I arrived at PAYH, I have looked at it as a second chance and done my best to stay out of trouble. Today, I am a totally different person than I was prior to coming to the Youth Home.
What He’s Looking Forward to the Most: I missed out on learning to ride a bike during my childhood, so I am looking forward to being able to finish such a hard task with very little experience.
