I am still raising awareness in my community with this “bike ride”. My church has seen the live footage and even though they had not heard of Paul Anderson Youth Home they are truly touched by the courage and commitment that each one of you delivered. They would love for you guys to come speak at our church and share the story behind this legacy and hear testimonies from the boys. They were truly touched! God is still moving even after the affect!

Yes! Oh happy day -more videos and more riveting commentary! Our hearts have been with you all the way – it’s a welcome relief to have an update of where our hearts have been. Seriously, we’re following you cross country like an obsession and it’s a wonderful thing. So sorry to hear about the wipe-outs (Nathaniel!) and the bummed up elbow, but as they say, “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.” I know I can speak for all the moms and dads: “proud” isn’t a fine enough word to describe our thoughts and feelings about all of you hard-working young men. You exceed our expectations! Really wish we could be there when you roll over that last mile into Boys Town!

May God accomplish all of His highest purposes for you and for the Paul Anderson Youth Home through this tremendous experience.

Wow! I remember when you first came to the home you were not a happy camper. You carried angry inside of you and I could see it literaaly weighing you down but it’s like you have found the light and Gods comfort and you look refreshed! I teach spin classes at a couple different gyms. We are all following your route and ‘attempting’ to imitate your ride in class. When the class complains how difficult the 1 hour ride is, I remind them that you are on your bikes for 19 days!

I have never in my life been so aware of the power of God’s Love. I worked with Jake’s dad and thought the world of him, respected his business ability, appreciated his friendship and admired his love and dedication for his family. Never during our time as co-workers did he ever make even one negative comment about his kids. As a parent, I cannot imagine the frustration and pain he and the rest of the family went through, loving Jake but feeling helpless. As Jake said, though, they never gave up – and God’s Love got them all through this. I am proud to say I know Greg, and through him, know about this wonderful family.

Dustin – thank you for sharing your story. It is very dificult to stand up in front of loved ones, friends, and complete strangers and admit your mistakes. You are one of the lucky ones who can say without question…my parents love me and they (PAYH staff) loves me too. Love and Prayer are an awesome combination and everyone’s prayers were answered by allowing you to grow and mature at PAYH before you begin the next phase in your life. WOW!!!! Cody, you planted many seeds last night at church. Dad and I was watching this video and the courage, strength, the way you carry yourself with confidence is just amazing! We are so proud but most importantly God is proud of you Cody. You made a comment that since you have accepted Christ it has not been easy and you know your right. It’s hard because we don’t understand why things happen in life the way they do but you know if we did not walk through the storms in our life we would never build character and find our strength from deep within.
