Day Three

Day three wasn’t quite as hot. Still in the upper 90s, but not as hot. There was a nice overcast for part of the day, which helped a great deal. Plus, we made it above the gnat line. So yay for us! Larry and Mary-Hunt showed us on the way this morning and we left Lincolnton making our way through Washington and on until we came to Watkinsville, where we will be spending the night with some great folks. (Shout out to Emma and her parents!) The riders from Toccoa we all know and love met up with us this afternoon and we have a couple interviews with local media as well.

Later, we will tour Athens a bit and then, hopefully, get some rest. Stay tuned for pictures from Day 2 and videos from our Boss of Day 3, Joshua.
