Meet Jesse
Before coming to the PAYH I was living a self destructive life that would have eventually landed me in prison or dead. Growing up I became involved in more and more drugs and different illegal activities. My group of “friends” changed all the time as they continually got worse and worse.
Since coming to the PAYH I have been able to change my ambitions and my priorities.
How is training going?
So far the training has been great. It has been difficult and it has been a challenge, but it is also a lot of fun.
What do you think your biggest challenge will be on the Ride?
The hardest thing for me has been trying to keep up speed with the fastest rider and maintaining that speed throughout all the the miles. I believe that will continue to be the biggest challenge.
Why are you participating in the ride?
The reason I am riding is for the PAYH and for the future boys that come through the program. The Youth Home has given me so much in the past 14 months that a bike ride, no matter how long, is the least that I can do. I am proud to be a part of this year’s team!
How much money would you like to raise by people sponsoring you?
I would like to raise $10,000.
Will be with you “riding drag”
Jesse!!! So proud of you and all of the other riders.
Quite a young man you have become. We love you lots.
God bless you.
