Training Week 2
Hello to all the Bike Ride followers!
Our last practice ride was best writing paper Thursday. We took a short 15 mile rout in place of PE that morning. Everyone is getting the hang of the road rules, biking lingo, and how to draft and ride efficiently. The one thing that I have not yet learned to do is hold down your front tire break and do stationary tail whips while still having one foot clipped in. (Editors note: This move is not sanctioned or encouraged by the PAYH and should not be attempted at home, or anywhere else for that matter.) So, with all the basics down, the miles will soon be increasing and the practices tougher. We are all ready for the next stage and we are excited about being a part of the ride. Thank you for following us as we learn and grow on the road (and in life).
I am honored to be a participant in the Bike Ride this year and to have the opportunity to represent the Paul Anderson Youth Home and to help raise funding for the organization. They (the PAYH) have helped me more than you will ever fully know. I am excited to speak about how my life has changed since joining the PAYH family.

Joseph, It will be fun following your bike riding journey.
Maggie hopes you have fun on the ride.
We are all very proud of you! Good Luck,
Topher, Leah, Molly, Maggie, Asa and Anna
Keep up the great work! We are very proud of the young men at the PAYH and all thier acconplishments. Joseph, when the miles get long and it starts to burn, just remember, when you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, you WILL be successful. Show us how great YOU are! God bless!
Sounds like a dangerous yet interesting maneuver :) Praying for safe travels!
Hooray Joseph!
We are cheering you on and praying for you, too.
